The final rush..

This is the last week, before the conclusion of this Man6636 sect 0687 class. How are you training yourself towards the final rush (final exam + working projects + presentation in class for the remaining three groups + getting extrapoints for class participation)? How do you feel? Any program for this weekend? This will be only a "secured" section of the blog reserved to MAN6636 students... Enjoy!

Honestly, by now, I'm just doing what I've been doing all semester- keep on keepin' on! It's tough to "train" right now, because I have so many projects and meetings due in such a short time (like everyone else in the class I'm sure!) However, based on my last test score, I am going to focus even more on the book and practice problems in hopes that that will up my final exam grade!
As for the project, we have split up sections to work on individually and are meeting soon to update everyone and complie it. In each class individually, I feel fine, however with this class, two others, full time internship and looking fo a job, I am getting a little overwhelmed, but I know it will all work out in the end! As for my weekend, I unfortunatly do not have time to watch the UEFA cup, because I will be finishing up all of my projects... Bummer!!

Well I'm basically doing the same as Lindsey, keep on truckin' jaja... I'll be doing the same for this class: focusing on the book for the final and meeting with my group to compile our separate parts and prepare for our own Cup we'll have last class. I'll probably be procrastinating some for the other classes by watching the Cup while thinking about spending the rest of the summer at the beach back home in Puerto Rico...aaaaaahhh can't wait.

I made some mistakes in last exam, so will try to improve in a better way. Have changed my approach on reading chapters. Even i have been following certain cricket matches being played by my country India, serve to be good refreshments in between.
About the final project, my team has well distributed the tasks,so seems quite manageable.
For class participation points, its that , sometimes you have smthing to say, while sometimes u don't. so its better to comment if we have an idea, else it sounds fake.

It seems I need to stop writing my dissertation for at least two weeks, since I need to concentration on the final and projects. I will do as what I did in the midterm: reading the textbook, practicing the problems, which worked for me in the midterm. I only have one credit left after this term. Oh, I can not wait...

I plan to study the book and to do practice problems to prepare for the final exam. I am going to work on the project early so I have alot of time to study later on. As for participation, I have tried to contribute more in class than what I used to and participate in Blog discussions.

I feel like the in-class assessments are a really good practice tool for me at this time. I feel that they are a good representation of what is to come on the final. I have been reading the book and collaborating with my colleagues. This program is all about helping each other out. Studying with one another and getting input from others is crucial for success in this program. Lean on one another in this last week. Even if you are not familiar with anyone in this program, make sure you seek out just one person to talk to about what they are doing for this last week. I am also making sure that my participation grade is where is should be. I am not one to speak out in class but I find these blogs to be fun and helpful. One final piece of advice.... don't leave all of your studying for the very end. Not a good idea.

I agree wih everyone about how it has been really busy putting together projects and presentations lately. It helps me to keep a "things-to-do" list to keep track of all the things I have to do. Plus, it feels really good when cross completed items off the list! This weekend will consist of studying and finishing the final project for this class...and working...and an internship...and trying to spend time with my boyfriend and family because they complain I am always at school.

Fortunately most of my projects/presentations were toward the beginning of summer so I've been able to have more time to read the book. I'm going to go over the power point slides from class lectures and study the practice questions.
